About the Event

Operatic Voices of Europe is a multi-nation operatic showcase featuring singers representing their respective European countries. Each performer will present arias associated with the composers and traditions of their national heritage—for example, the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giuseppe Verdi, Georges Bizet, Richard Wagner, and other iconic figures of the European operatic tradition.

Performances will be structured in a friendly format, echoing the emphasis on teamwork, national pride, and camaraderie—translated into a culturally rich and uplifting artistic context.

Objectives

• To strengthen cultural and diplomatic ties between EU member states and Ireland.
• To showcase the operatic traditions of Europe in an innovative, engaging format.
• To provide a platform for emerging and established classical singers.
• To highlight Limerick as a welcoming host city for European cultural exchange.
