The Limerick Opera Festival is proud to present a landmark musical event celebrating the 150th anniversary of Georges Bizet’s Carmen, one of the world’s most beloved operas. This special concert performance will take place on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at 7:30 PM in the prestigious University Concert Hall (UCH).

Audiences will be treated to a powerful evening of music as the University of Limerick Orchestra and eight outstanding soloists bring Bizet’s evocative score to life. From the fiery “Habanera” to the stirring “Toreador Song,” this concert promises an unforgettable journey through the passion and drama of Carmen. The evening will be hosted by the renowned Lorcan Murray of Lyric FM, adding a touch of elegance and insight to the performance.

Tickets are now available for just €30.00 at uch.ie. Early booking is advised as demand is expected to be high for this one-night-only celebration.
